We are so grateful for the rains we’ve been having. The hills have turned from golden brown to vibrant green. This means there is lots to see out of the windows on the bus. It also means we’ve been enjoying, when weather permits, beautiful picnics around the county. Thursdays and Fridays were our normal picnic days, but we found that everyone else was enjoying what we were so we changed our picnic outings to Mondays (easier to find handicap parking for our bus). And with the exception of the first Friday of the month when we enjoy music and lunch at the First Presbyterian Church on Marsh Street in San Luis Obispo. This last Monday we enjoyed Barney Schwartz Park in Paso Robles. Next Monday, weather permitting, we will enjoy another favorite local park in Templeton. We love when family join us.
