A Dedicated Team.

Ingleside derives its name from founder, Shirley Barratt’s historical family estate in Australia.

Shirley’s aunt and owner of the estate developed dementia in the early 1950s in an era when the only option was institutionalization. Aunt Fan lived only 30 days after being committed to an institution where her hair was cut off and she was isolated, bruised and mistreated. Ingleside Assisted Living, Inc. is built in loving memory of Aunty Fan and the desire to provide the specialized loving care that she should have received.

Shirley Barratt and Randy Vaughn bring a unique blend of abilities and experience to make the magic that is Ingleside. Expertise in elder care, hospitality, teaching, and finance - both domestically and abroad, a great love of people and a desire to serve, provide a solid foundation for this five-star facility. Shirley, a native Australian, has been a central coast resident for more than 25 years. Randy, originally from Texas, has relocated to the central coast after years of international work.
